Do the Las Vegas Raiders have enough help around quarterbacks Fernando Mendoza and Kirk Cousins for the 2026 NFL season? The Raiders were not among the most active teams in the open market this offseason, but did acquire enough talent in free agency and the draft to have a more competitive offense next season.

Fox Sports’ Ralph Vacchiano, ranked the supporting cast around Mendoza and Cousins No. 30 out of all 32 teams in the league heading into next season.

No one is sure what new coach Klint Kubiak will be able to get out of a very iffy receiving corps, though. A healthy Brock Bowers gives them an elite weapon at tight end, but Tre Tucker, Jalen Nailor and Jack Bech are uninspiring. ‘Nailor’s a deep threat,’ one scout told me, ‘but not a No. 1 receiver.’ Another said: ‘They took the right first steps, but it’s still not a good spot for a rookie quarterback.’

Bowers is a proven 1,000-yard receiver in the league, and figures to again be Las Vegas’ No. 1 option in 2026. Tucker has potential to exceed the 696 receiving yards that he recorded last season as the Raiders’ No. 2 option in the passing game next season.

Jeanty appears poised to record his first 1,000-yard season as the Raiders’ primary running back, following his standout rookie year in 2025.

Along with their veterans, the Raiders are hoping to get help from their rookies. Running back Mike Washington Jr. could take pressure off of Ashton Jeanty in the ground game as a big ball-carrier at 6-foot-2 that excels as a rusher and in the receiving game. While sixth round WR Malik Benson has the talent to emerge for Las Vegas as more than just a down-field threat next season.

The addition of center Tyler Linderbaum will service the Raiders offense well in helping to free up holes in the A gaps and protecting Mendoza and Cousins next season. However, the Raiders still need a legitimate No. 1 wide receiver and more help on the offensive line, making their offense a work in progress.
