We Americanos know all about illegally messing with your balls in sports. Football had Deflategate, hockey had the "unfrozen puck" incidents. And of course baseball has a long history of doctoring the ball, going back to Preacher Roe, Whitey Ford, Gaylord Perry, Joe Niekro, the humidors, and others.
But cheatin' is contagious. The newest ball-tampering scandal has engrossed the worldwide sport of cricket. I always thought cricket was a wireless phone company, but whatever.
Cricketeers, especially Aussies, seem to treat this as the price of doing business. But their behavio(u)r poked a hornets' next of anger. Maybe they should be sponsored by the Emery Board Company.
