It didn't take long for New England Patriots quarterback Drake Maye to react to the team using the No. 4 overall pick of the 2025 NFL draft on LSU offensive tackle Will Campbell.

Maye spent his rookie season playing behind a makeshift offensive line with the left tackle position being the biggest trouble spot. It was a revolving door of struggling veterans trying to fill a position that hasn't had a long-term option in years.

That should finally change with Campbell joining the roster. The former LSU standout is a supreme athlete with tremendous technique and power in the trenches. He's a nasty blocker with proven success in fending off some of the best pass rushers in the country last season.

Maye reacted to the draft pick with four fire emojis on his Instagram story.

The Patriots still have work to do along the offensive front, particularly when it comes to improving their depth at offensive tackle. Could they be looking to double-dip in the mid-to-late rounds of the draft?

It shouldn't be ruled out for a unit that ranked amongst the worst in the league last season.
