Playoff schedules for local baseball teams this week

Apr. 20—The state high school baseball playoffs begin this week.

The playoffs are a best two out of three series. Games 1 and 2 will be a doubleheader with Game 2 starting following the conclusion of Game 1. Game 3, if needed, will take place the following day.

The Class 7A playoffs will begin next week.

Hartselle vs. Buckhorn on Thursday at 5 p.m. Game 3 on Friday at 6 p.m.

Athens at Hazel Green on Friday at 5 p.m. Game 3 on Saturday at 2 p.m.

Class 5A

East Limestone vs. Arab on Friday at 5 p.m. Game 3 on Saturday at 1 p.m.

Class 4A

West Morgan vs. Central-Florence on Friday at 4:30 p.m. Game 3 on Saturday at 12 p.m.

Class 3A

Elkmont vs. Clements on Friday at 4:30 p.m. Game 3 on Saturday at 1 p.m.

Lindsay Lane vs. Pisgah on Thursday at 4 p.m. Game 3 on Friday at 4:30 p.m.

Decatur Heritage at North Sand Mountain on Thursday at 4:30 p.m. Game 3 on Friday at 4:30 p.m.
