There's no denying that Pittsburgh is a football town. The city lives and breathes the Pittsburgh Steelers and they came out in droves as the host city of the 2026 NFL Draft. According to the NFL, the city set the record for the largest attendance in NFL draft history with 805,000 attendees over the three days. This is more than 100,000 more than in Detroit in 2024.
Pittsburgh also set the record for Day One attendance with 320,000 people. This topped the 275,00 fans who showed up for opening night in Detroit in 2024. The NFL draft continues to grow as the largest offseason event in all of professional sports and by rotating the local, the sky is the limit for just how large it can become.

2016, Chicago: 225,000
