MEMPHIS, T.N. (WNCT) — The Pirates’ softball three-game winning streak ended in a 2-1 loss to Memphis.
ECU Trinity Nichols led the Pirates with two hits in three at-bats, but the Pirates missed opportunities to score, stranding 10 runners. ECU Sydney Rainford allowed four hits in the loss.
Tomorrow, ECU will look to bounce back in the next game against Memphis at 3 pm.
