The Phoenix Mercury finally got one. After six straight losses, Phoenix escaped Seattle with a 72-68 win over the Storm in a game that was anything but pretty. Natasha Mack turned in one of her best performances of the season, the Mercury defended at a high level for most of the night, and Phoenix finally found a way to close out a game.

We’ll break down Mack’s impact, the defensive effort, DeWanna Bonner’s late-game plays, and what still concerns us even after the Mercury’s first win in nearly two weeks.

Welcome to PHNX Mercury, where we make it more fun to be a Mercury fan!
