- Sam Fuld is going to be at the forefront of the Phillies in some capacity or another. The TV deal is likely his biggest piece of business ($).
- You won’t believe one of the names Jon Heyman mentions in this piece as a possible trade target for the Phillies.
MLB news:
- The biggest news of the day is the Mets doing away with Carlos Mendoza as their manager, hiring Andy Green on an interim basis.
- The Angels tried to one up them by firing their general manager and hiring an old one from the Cardinals on a consulting basis.
- The Player’s Association offered up a proposal to ban player prop bets to help with threats against the players.
