The PGA Tour Playoffs are getting some serious love.
It was announced on Wednesday that ESPN is set to expand their coverage of the PGA Tour FedExCup Playoffs this season and will be bringing live coverage of the postseason to their primary linear channel for the first time. All told there will be 12 total hours of playoff action airing across three different weeks in the month of August.
This August, ESPN expands its @PGATOUR coverage, featuring:
️ 12 hours of live FedExCup Playoffs action on ESPN’s primary linear channel
️ 100+ hours of PGA TOUR LIVE coverage on the ESPN App

Here are the exact windows in question where ESPN will televise the playoffs:
- FedEx St. Jude Championship (Aug. 13–14)
- 9–11 a.m. ET
- Championship (Aug. 20–21)
- 10 a.m.–12 p.m. ET
- TOUR Championship (Aug. 27–28)
- 11 a.m.–1 p.m. ET
This is a big deal as ESPN last carried live coverage of the Tour Championship 20 years ago. Golf has been having a moment as of late, and national brands, names, and companies are doing everything they can to capitalize on it.
Next month should be interesting.
