The wait is over.
College Football 27, the latest version of EA Sports college football video game, is officially released today on Playstation 5, Xbox Series X/S and Windows.
MVP+ Members got access to the game on July 2, while those who preordered the Deluxe Edition or MVP Bundle got access on July 6. Now anyone can try to take over their favorite FBS team and lead them to eternal glory.
UWF, one of the newest Division I schools, isn’t part of the game as it’s in FCS and not FBS, though players can use the Team Builder feature to create a custom team.
However, there’s still plenty of players with Pensacola connections featured in the game. Players were paid $1,500 to opt into this year’s game, up from $600 when the game was released for the first time in 11 years in 2024.
Those not in the game now can opt in to be included during later updates. Below is a list of players with Pensacola area connections in College Football 27.
