The Carolina Panthers got a little healthier on Monday.

As announced this morning, defensive lineman Bobby Brown III has been activated from the non-football injury list. The 25-year-old defender is now set to return to the practice field today after missing the first handful of summer sessions due to a hamstring injury.

Brown signed a three-year, $21 million deal with the Panthers in the spring of 2024. He'd go on to start in five of his 17 regular-season outings—amassing 31 combined tackles (three for a loss), half a sack and a pass defensed.

Carolina has dealt with a number of absences over the first two weeks of training camp. They're still expected to be without left tackle Ikem Ekwonu (patellar tendon), right tackle Taylor Moton (blood clot) and defensive lineman Tershawn Wharton, and have also watched the 2026 campaigns for rookie wide receiver Chris Brazzell II (LCL tear) and outside linebacker Nic Scourton (ACL tear) effectively end as a result of practice injuries.
