Hodad’s, a burger restaurant founded in Ocean Beach, sells an “FTD” burger at Petco Park, according to multiple photos circulating online.
FTD has been interpreted as “F*** the Dodgers,” a nod to the rivalry between Los Angeles and San Diego.
The San Diego Padres and the Los Angeles Dodgers recently locked horns for a National League West rivalry series, with the Dodgers taking it 2-1 after back-to-back wins.
Additionally, the Dodgers walked away with a 1.5-game lead over the Padres, leaving the southern Mexican border region with success.

The Dodgers-Padres matchups have often provided fireworks, most recently in 2025, when former San Diego manager Mike Shildt and Dave Roberts got into an intense, benches-clearing shouting match.
The clashes have extended into the postseason as well, with the Dodgers beating them in the most recent October series back in 2024.
The Padres, while never stealing the NL West from the Dodgers during this golden period of baseball in San Diego, have taken a series against the Dodgers in 2023, something they have held onto as the high point of their current run, with no World Series to show for their talent and aggressiveness in team-building.
Still in 2026, fans from both teams go back and forth, and with the Dodgers sitting as the reigning back-to-back champions, there is little for the Padres to truly attack, but they have still found their way, and apparently, it involves a burger.
What is the FTD Burger?
The burger, sold at the Hodad’s in the stadium, features a cheeseburger loaded with onion rings, BBQ sauce, mayo, and pickles.
It sells for $16.49 at the ballpark, according to the listing and picture.
According to a user on X, the burger has been around for years, and @swingFriarFrier also claims it has been on the menu regularly.
Note: Dodgers Nation reached out to Hodad’s to confirm the burger and its intended meaning, but a representative said they knew nothing about it.
Naturally, Dodgers fans have run wild in the comments:
“Burger got more rings than they’re franchise,” one user said on Instagram.
“That’s nice, but the problem is they won’t be available in October, and they come with a warning label: ‘Will choke,'” a second person added.
“Dodgers living rent free in the padres organization and in the minds of padres fans,” a third person added.
In case anyone needed any more evidence, the rivalry is truly alive and well.
