After winning the 2026 U.S. Senior Open title, Padraig Harrington was hungry for more. Specifically, he was hungry for breakfast.

On July 6, Harrington posted that he had returned home to Ireland less than a day after winning the U.S. Senior Open at Scioto Country Club in Upper Arlington on July 5. The golfer posted photos of himself with his dog and eating a victory plate of breakfast upon returning home.

"Home by 10 a.m. for breakfast. Direct Aer Lingus flight from Cleveland. If only every Sunday worked out like this," said Harrington on his X account.

Aer Lingus had one direct nonstop flight on July 5 from Cleveland Hopkins International Airport to Dublin Airport, according to Flightaware.com. The plane departed from Cleveland at 8:45 p.m. ET and arrived in Ireland at 8:45 a.m. Ireland Standard Time.

Harrington grew up in Rathfarnham, a suburb of Dublin, and still lives in the city, according to the Irish Sun.

Now a three-time U.S. Senior Open champion, Harrington shot a 4-under 66 in the final round to win the tournament at Scioto by four strokes over Stewart Cink. Harrington pocketed $800,000 as a result of the win.
