Agreed, especially for an owner that seems so enthused by that team. Only other explanation is hes cashing in on some ishbia valuations, and still maintains control, plus he can open the gambling side due to the affiliationSo weird Cuban is jumping ship unless he is about to launch a new business or get into politics.
Team is staying in Dallas, he maintains control of basketball operations (and a percent of the team), the new owners are casino-related and there is a big push to legalize gambling in Texas like we have here in AZ with the apps, etc. He believes the new owners will make great decisions for the team as far as a new building to play in with a sportsbook, etc. Different spin on "selling" a team, for sure.So weird Cuban is jumping ship unless he is about to launch a new business or get into politics.
