For the second straight season, the Oklahoma State softball team enters the offseason having missed out on the Women's College World Series.

The Cowgirls reached the super-regional round of the NCAA Tournament for the sixth time in the last seven opportunities, dropping the best-of-three Lincoln Super Regional to fourth-seeded Nebraska and ending the year with a 41-17 record.

With stars such as ace pitcher Ruby Meylan out of eligibility, there is work to be done by coach Kenny Gajewski and Co. in the two-week opening of transfer portal, which began June 8.
