USA Today released the preseason coaches’ top 25 poll last Tuesday, before On3 released its own preseason top 25 poll this Tuesday.

Like the USA Today poll, Ohio State leads the field in the top spot since it has a ton of talent returning for the 2026 season, including quarterback Julian Sayin and wide receiver Jeremiah Smith.

Oregon, Texas, Georgia, and Notre Dame round out On3’s top five. Ohio State, Oregon, and Georgia made the College Football Playoff last year, while Texas and Notre Dame missed out.
