The Atomic City Bridge Club, located in the Grove Center in Oak Ridge, is congratulating bridge player Doug Doub on his outstanding performance at the national tournament in Minneapolis, July 8-July 19.

Doug, who lives in Oak Ridge, placed first in the Swiss Teams event, second in the Open Pairs event, and finished with the third highest total master points for the entire tournament.

According to information provided by the local Bridge Club, "The bridge nationals draw players from all over the world. We are so proud of Doug!

"We also would like to encourage any bridge players in the area to join us at our club. We are super friendly and welcome experienced as well as newer players. Visit our website at oakridgebridge.org."
