Northern Illinois transfer defensive lineman Mark Hensley has signed with Missouri, he told ESPN’s Pete Thamel. He entered the transfer portal after the departure of NIU coach Thomas Hammock for the NFL.
Hensley spent three years at NIU, but did not play as a true freshman in 2023 to preserve a redshirt. He’s coming off a breakout season in 2025 as he totaled 32 tackles, 5.0 tackles for loss and a sack as a key part of the Huskies defense.
Hensley played high school football at Washington (Mo.), where he was a three-star prospect. He was the No. 2,304 overall player from the 2023 cycle, according to the Rivals Industry Ranking.
