FSU held its first scrimmage of the fall on Tuesday, with head coach Mike Norvell saying there were explosive plays on both sides:

He also confirmed that FSU has been in contact with compliance and former players who might return to Florida State following a recent ruling that granted an extra year of eligibility to the class of 2022:

FSU has major ACC spoiler potential in 2026 thanks to a schedule featuring Miami, SMU, Clemson and Louisville. And if the new Ashton Daniels-to-Robinson connection is strong, the Noles might have some sleeper contender potential as well. Despite QB limitations, 6-foot-6 Robinson gained 1,081 receiving yards and averaged 2.9 yards per route in 2025, and Daniels is a more prototypical passer than last year’s starter, Tommy Castellanos.

FSU baseball will play a fall exhibition game in Pensacola for the third consecutive season, facing off against Auburn on Saturday, October 10 at 2 p.m. ET:

FSU returns to Blue Wahoos Stadium for a Fall Ball contest for the third time in as many seasons. The Seminoles played Auburn in 2024 and Mississippi State in 2025 in front of sell-out crowds at the home of the Pensacola Blue Wahoos, the Double-A affiliate of the Miami Marlins.

Florida State’s complete Fall Ball schedule will be announced at a later date.
