The Miami Heat are on the road on Tuesday night as they travel to take on the Charlotte Hornets in the Eastern Conference Play-In Tournament.

For the Heat, they enter the Play-In Tournament as the No. 10 seed in the East after finishing the regular season with a 43-39 record following a dominant victory at home over the Atlanta Hawks on Sunday night.

Now Miami will try to grab a key victory on Tuesday night as they face off against the Hornets in a tough road matchup.

While the Heat are looking to keep their season alive and advance to the next round of the Play-In Tournament by picking up a victory over the Hornets in Tuesday night’s matchup, they may be without multiple key players due to injuries.

Nikola Jovic, Pelle Larsson among three listed on Heat injury report for Hornets game​


For the Heat, they have three players listed on their injury report for Tuesday’s game, including both Nikola Jovic and Pelle Larsson.

Miami has ruled out Jovic due to a left ankle sprain as he will miss his fifth consecutive contest on Tuesday night.

With Jovic still sidelined, Jaime Jaquez Jr. and Simone Fontecchio could both continue to have larger roles.

The Heat have also ruled out Dru Smith as he will miss his fifth straight game with right foot soreness.

Larsson has been listed as questionable due to due to a left lower-leg contusion and he is in danger of missing his second consecutive contest and if he is sidelined once again, Kasparas Jakucionis could have an increased role.
