The NFL recently announced the Kansas City Chiefs' and the entire league's 17-game 2026 regular season schedule.

The 18-week, 272-game regular-season schedule for 2026 kicks off on Wednesday night, September 9, in Seattle and concludes with 16 division games in Week 18, three on Saturday, January 9, and 13 on Sunday, January 10. The 17th game will feature teams from opposing conferences that finished in the same standing within their respective divisions the previous season.

Week 18 will conclude on Saturday, January 9, and Sunday, January 10. The league, for the 17th straight year, has scheduled all 16 games in the final week of the season as division contests, increasing the likelihood of more playoff-impacting games.

Standout games include Kickoff Weekend 2026, which concludes on Monday, September 14, with ESPN's Monday Night Football, featuring the Denver Broncos visiting the Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium. The Chiefs will also travel to face the Buffalo Bills on Thanksgiving Night, the final game of a tripleheader.

The NFL announced its ongoing use of AWS to run high-performance computing workloads to find the best possible schedule each year.
