The New York Giants reportedly met with Clemson offensive tackle Tristan Leigh at the East-West Shrine Bowl, signaling early interest in the 2026 NFL draft prospect.

Leigh, a 6-foot-6, 315-pound tackle, was a five-star recruit who spent five seasons with the Tigers after enrolling early in the 2021 class. He redshirted his freshman year, saw limited action early, then broke out as a starter in 2023 (11 of 13 games) and 2024 (all 12 games), contributing to an ACC Championship.

After considering the 2025 draft, he returned for 2025 but was limited by an ankle injury in a tougher season. He declared for the 2026 draft after exhausting eligibility.

Scouting reports highlight his prototypical NFL size, athleticism for pulling and second-level blocking, strong initial punch, and versatility (tackle/guard experience). However, concerns include high pad level, balance issues leading to falls, inconsistent technique in pass protection, and vulnerability to counters.

Projections place Leigh as a Day 3 selection, often in the fifth or sixth round -- aligning well with the Giants' draft capital, as they lack a seventh-round pick.

The meeting comes amid the Giants' offensive line needs, particularly at right tackle if veteran Jermaine Eluemunor departs in free agency. Leigh's size, power anchor, and developmental upside could provide depth or competition in a position group requiring reinforcement.
