The New York Giants are still a year away from making their selections in the 2027 NFL draft, but speculation about how the first round will unfold continues to circulate this spring.
CBS Sports' Mike Renner believes the Giants view LSU left tackle Jordan Seaton as their top choice at No. 10 overall in next year’s draft as they look to further upgrade their offensive line.
Seaton plays with the quickness desired in an NFL right tackle. He also possesses the strength and footwork to handle edge rushers who try to turn the corner or use their explosiveness to pressure the quarterback.
The Giants already have starting right tackle Jermaine Eluemunor under contract through 2028. They also drafted versatile offensive lineman Francis Mauigoa in 2026, a player capable of contributing at multiple positions, including right tackle. That depth raises questions about the need to draft another high-end tackle early in next year’s draft.
Nevertheless, Seaton ranks among the top prospects at the position on early draft boards and would be one of the strongest tackle options available if the Giants’ front office decides to address the position in the first round.

Jordan Seaton started the past two years at Colorado before transferring to LSU this spring. His pass protection was especially impressive, allowing only seven pressures all season. He'd slot in at right tackle and could help give the Giants one of the NFL's best offensive lines.
