The New York Knicks won a historic championship after defeating the San Antonio Spurs in Game 5 of the NBA Finals on Saturday night.

The Knicks secured their first championship in 53 years with a 94-90 win, kicking off wild celebrations throughout the five boroughs.

Star guard Jalen Brunson delivered the win with a 45-point outburst in Texas as “Let's go Knicks” chants cascaded from the stands in San Antonio.

Brunson fought back tears after the game as he tried to explain what the win meant to the city.

“I have no words,” he told ESPN. “I don’t know what I’m feeling, I’m in awe, I don’t know.”
