Mark your calendars for August 19th and 20th. The Philadelphia Eagles are coming to Foxborough for joint practices with the New England Patriots.

This leaves potential for it to get interesting for A.J. Brown as he reunites with the team he played for the last four seasons.

"Eagles-Patriots’ joint practice in Foxborough on August 19-20, when New England wide receiver A.J. Brown will get the opportunity to go against his former teammates," Adam Schefter announced on X.

The trade from Philly to New England had been imminent for months, and now many wonder whether there will be any fallout when Brown faces some former teammates on the practice field.

Brown did not leave the Eagles on the best of terms, but some reports say that some issues had been resolved before his exit. Other unconfirmed reports state that the locker room had become a very toxic atmosphere, with Brown somewhat tied to that notion.

When the Eagles arrive in Foxborough, it's very easy to picture how this will look for the press.

Brown will most likely be seen embracing former teammates, former head coach Nick Sirianni, and many others within the Eagles organization. We'll probably see Brown all smiles, posing for photos, at the very beginning.

Then the pads will come on, and we know where that leads to.

Cameras from media outlets will be present at the 'Patriots' practice facilities in August. Because once those pads come on, we all know the competitive spirit rises to another level once they're on the field.

It's here that brawls can happen between both teams. Many remember last season, when Mike Vrabel jumped into a brawl between his players and some others from the Washington Commanders during joint practices.

See the clip below for yourself.

Vrabel would emerge from the rubble of players, bloodied. But it was also a tone-setting moment for the kind of coach that the Patriots now had.

Will there be any of that between the Patriots and the Eagles? We don't know, but don't be surprised if things do get chippy out there come August 19th.
