Netherlands next World Cup match: Fixture schedule, start time, draw bracket as Oranje face Japan originally appeared on The Sporting News. Add The Sporting News as a Preferred Source by clicking here.
The Netherlands will be hoping to challenge for the latter stages of the World Cup when their campaign gets underway on June 21.
The Oranje boast the ignominious record of being the only nation in history to reach the World Cup final three times and fail to win any of them, with the last of those coming in 2010, when they lost to Spain.
After missing out on the 2018 tournament, the Dutch reached the quarterfinals in Qatar four years ago, and anything less than a repeat of that feat in North America will be considered a disappointment. Their group looks a little tricky on paper, though, with games against Japan, Sweden and Tunisia to navigate.
Here is everything you need to know about the Netherlands' appearance at the World Cup, including the latest results from the tournament.
When is Netherlands' next match at World Cup 2026?
The Netherlands' first game at the World Cup is against Japan on June 14.
The game at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas kicks off at 4 p.m. local time.
