Russell Westbrook has still not signed with a new team following his departure from the Sacramento Kings in free agency.
He signed a one-year deal with the Kings last summer and averaged 15.2 points and 6.7 assists per game.
However, Sacramento have decided to go in a different direction, allowing Westbrook to become an unrestricted free agent.
The 37-year-old has been linked with a move to the Miami Heat and the Houston Rockets, but nothing has materialised.
One NBA scout has now provided a brutal explanation for why Westbrook may be struggling to find suitors.

What one NBA scout said about Russell Westbrook’s free agency value
An anonymous NBA scout has told the South Florida Sun Sentinel that he would not sign Westbrook “in a million years.”
They do not believe Westbrook contributes to winning basketball, even though he produces impressive statistics.
“I wouldn’t touch him in a million years,” the scout said. “You can’t rely on him in terms of what’s going to happen.
“Yeah, he’ll have great games. Sure. But he can’t shoot. He plays his own way. He’s not going to fit into a system. He doesn’t really defend.
“Yeah, he’ll put up some numbers, and he’ll win you some games. In terms of truly building a winning team, you don’t get him on your team.”
Westbrook’s lack of shooting and defensive prowess will certainly be causes for concern for teams considering signing him.
However, the former Oklahoma City Thunder still has plenty to offer in a backup point guard role on a contending team.
