Charles Barkley is without a doubt one of the best power forwards to ever grace the game of basketball. The Hall of Famer's personal accolades throughout what was a decorated 16-year NBA career serve as a testament to this fact.

Barkley has also done extremely well for himself in his post-NBA career as well. These days, he's widely considered one of the top talents in sports broadcasting, having made his mark alongside Shaquille O'Neal and the rest of the "Inside the NBA" crew through the years.

One thing Barkley does not excel in, however, is golf. At least this is what baseball pitching legend Pedro Martinez has heard through the grapevine, and the eight-time All-Star just had to throw it to Barkley's face during a recent NBA on TNT broadcast.

After expressing how proud he is of Barkley and Ernie Johnson for their success with their "The Steam Room" podcast, Martinez quickly pivoted to roast Barkley's golf game.

"You know what, Chuck? I heard that you're not good at golfing," Martinez said. "Even though I know it's entertaining, you're not doing good, man."

The Boston Red Sox icon went on to say that he would rather invite Barkley for some gardening fun while enjoying a barbecue and drinks.

Barkley was quick to accept the invitation.

"Pedro, I tell you what. I'm going to bring Ernie with me, and I'll let him cut the flowers, and I'm going to do the barbecue and the drinking part," Barkley responded.

Barkley ignored the jab from Martinez, but decided to take a veiled shot aimed at the baseball Hall of Famer's love for gardening.

"Wait, does he really do his own garden?" Barkley asked "... Hey, gardening ain't no damn hobby."

It's nothing but love between these two legends, who are clearly more than happy to engage in a bit of friendly banter.
