Because MLB absolutely sucks at marketing their product, today is both the second and final day of the 2026 MLB Draft AND the Futures Game, and because the All-Star Game is happening in Philadelphia this year, the game is starting at nine a.m. Pacific Time. This wouldn’t matter except the Mariners are fortunate to be represented by two of the best pitching prospects in the game, with Kade Anderson and Ryan Sloan. Anderson, who has been lights out for Arkansas this year at Double-A, is actually the starting pitcher for the AL prospect All-Stars. We’ll have a full rundown later of how Anderson and Sloan perform for those of you still snoozing on this Sunday morning, but for now, here’s an open game thread.
