For Hickory, Owen Proksch faced seven batters, walked one of them and struck out six of them. Michael Truach struck out one in two innings, allowing two runs.
Paulino Santana homered. Braylin Morel was 2 for 4 with a double. Marcos Torres had a pair of doubles and a stolen base. Curley Martha was 2 for 3 with a double, a walk and a stolen base. Marco Argudin had a hit and a walk. Angel Arredondo was 3 for 5.
