MIAA high school softball state tournament brackets

The MIAA high school spring state tournaments are underway.

The first brackets to be revealed were high school girls lacrosse and boys and girls tennis on Friday, May 22. Boys/girls rugby and boys volleyball were announced on Tuesday, May 26.

Softball, baseball and boys lacrosse will be announced on Wednesday, May 27 at 11 a.m.

The South Shore is primed to make some noise in the five softball tournaments. When the latest MIAA power rankings were revealed on Friday, May 22, there were 21 Patriot Ledger/Enterprise schools in playoff position, including five in the top 10 of their respective divisions.

Silver Lake is the defending Division 2 state champion after beating Bedford in last year's final.

Four other local teams made it to their respective quarterfinals in 2025 — Bridgewater-Raynham (Div. 1), Middleboro (Div. 2), East Bridgewater (Div. 4) and Abington (Div. 4).
