Mel Kiper Jr.’s final mock draft is in — and so is his final projection for the Philadelphia Eagles’ first-round pick.

Kiper, ESPN’s longtime NFL draft guru, released his last mock draft on Wednesday, a little more than one week away from the start of the 2026 NFL draft.

In previous mocks, Kiper projected the Eagles to draft Arizona State offensive tackle Max Iheanachor, Oregon tight end Kenyon Sadiq and Clemson cornerback Avieon Terrell.

But in his final edition, he had the Eagles taking a different Clemson star at No. 23 overall: offensive tackle Blake Miller.

“The Eagles don’t typically let future needs become current problems,“ Kiper wrote. ”General manager Howie Roseman is tactful in how he keeps the roster stocked with depth and future replacements.

“The question here, though, is whether Roseman will add the next in line behind receiver A.J. Brown (trade candidate) or offensive tackle Lane Johnson (turning 36). The value is better for the latter in this projection, and Miller is a perfect fit after playing over 3,500 snaps at right tackle in college.”

The Eagles team total wins line is currently listed at 10.5 games over on BetMGM. Our comprehensive BetMGM Sportsbook review will show you how to sign up and use their app. Also, make sure to view our NFL futures betting guide if you’re interested in learning more about betting on NFL futures.

Miller has been a frequently-projected prospect to the Eagles during the pre-draft process.

In one of our more recent mocks, we had the Eagles taking Miller, too. Here’s what we wrote about the fit last month:

“Miller is a Roseman guy through and through. He has ideal size (6-foot-6, 315 pounds), elite athleticism and a boatload of experience (54 starts at Clemson). If he’s there at No. 23, Miller would make a ton of sense. Let him learn and take over as early as 2027.”

Miller has also been projected to the Eagles in recent weeks by Yahoo!, USA Today and Draft Network, among others. So Kiper isn’t alone in his projection. Miller also wasn’t his only projection for the Eagles.

Kiper’s final mock draft was a two-rounder. He had the Eagles taking Georgia tight end Oscar Delp at No. 54 overall as an eventual replacement for veteran Dallas Goedert.

“Dallas Goedert is back for one more year, but the Eagles need more options at tight end, not to mention a succession plan for the 31-year-old if he doesn’t return in 2027,” Kiper wrote. “Delp‘s stats aren’t going to wow you (20 catches for 261 yards and one TD in 2025), but he’s effective with the ball in his hands and has some potential to his game. And the Eagles love the Georgia pipeline.”

We’ll see if the Eagles do what Kiper thinks they will next week when the draft kicks off in Pittsburgh.
