Mardy Fish rode a late charge to the top of the leaderboard on Saturday in Lake Tahoe.

The winner of the 2020 and 2024 American Century Championship, Fish tacked on an eagle at Edgewood Tahoe South's par-5 18th to finish his second round and jump ahead of defending champion Joe Pavelski.

The 3 on Fish's card is worth 6 points under the modified Stableford scoring system that the ACC uses, putting him at 52 points through 36 holes.

Pavelski sits 4 points back with a 48, followed by Annika Sorenstam (47) and Steph Curry (41).

With 18 holes to go on Sunday, it's fair to say Fish, Pavelski and Sorenstam are all in the mix.

2023 champion Curry will need to make up more ground to have a chance. The basketball star carded six birdies on Friday but couldn't recreate that magic on Saturday.

Sorenstam's best finish at the ACC was a runner-up in 2014, but she's picking up steam. After a slow start in the first round that saw 16 pars, an eagle and a bogey, the golfing legend had five birdies to three bogeys in the second round.

If Fish can hang on to his lead, he'll join Tony Romo and Mark Mulder as three-time winners of the ACC. Rick Rhoden's eight titles are the most in ACC history.

You can watch the conclusion of the 2026 American Century Championship on NBC and Peacock on Sunday from 2:30-6 p.m. ET.
