March Madness Sweet 16 basketball TV, game times, dates

The first and second rounds have concluded in the 2026 NCAA Tournament. Sweet 16 games will be contested Thursday and Friday.

No. 6 seed Tennessee (24-11) will face No. 2 seed Iowa State (29-7) on Friday at United Center in Chicago, Illinois. TBS/truTV will televise the Sweet 16 contest.

The Vols lead the all-time basketball series against Iowa State, 2-1, dating to Dec. 4, 1968. The Cyclones won the first meeting, 72-66, in Knoxville.

Tennessee’s first win over Iowa State was on Dec. 3, 1977 in Tempe, Arizona. The Vols won, 81-76. Tennessee also defeated Iowa State, 68-45, on Jan. 27, 2018 in Ames, Iowa.
