Dylan Darling might well have been at St. John's for a good time rather than a long time. According to reports, the lefty guard has entered the transfer portal.

Darling became a folk hero for the Red Storm after hitting a game-winning layup as time expired to beat Kansas in the round of 32.

For The Win covered the notoriety Darling received after making one of the most important plays in school history. He was lauded for his courage to take the big shot after not scoring for the entire game prior to that point.

Darling averaged just under seven points and three assists for the Johnnies in a prime facilitating role.

If Darling were to leave St. John's, it would be to play for the fourth school of his college career. He's also played for Washington State and Idaho State.
