Contrary to recent reports and speculation, the Los Angeles Lakers appear not to be in any potential trade frameworks that would help complete the Giannis Antetokounmpo blockbuster trade. Appearing on ALL NBA Podcast, seasoned NBA insider Marc Stein has dismissed the Lakers' inclusion in the ongoing Giannis trade sweepstakes. "I have to be honest based on what I’ve heard. I haven’t heard that," Stein revealed about LA potentially being involved. "I know there was all kinds of speculation yesterday—deal is closed, deal is happening tonight—but I have not heard that the Lakers would be part of a Giannis multi-team construction. "So yeah, maybe it could happen, I’m not going to say no because I haven’t heard everything, but I just have to be candid with you—that one has not crossed my desk."
