NEW RICHMOND, WV (WVNS) – The Wyoming East Warriors completed their season sweep of county rivals Westside in boys basketball, winning 71-44.
The Warriors started hot with a 7-0 lead, but the Renegades made a game out of it. Wyoming East held on to a narrow lead to end the first half 27-25.

However, a 24-6 run in the 3rd quarter and major second half overall would hand the Warriors a massive win.
This win meant a season sweep for the Warriors over the Renegades in both boys and girls high school varsity during the 2025-26 season.
