On a Tuesday night where the UNC men's basketball team celebrated its two seniors, Seth Trimble and Elijah Davis, a junior stole the show.
Luka Bogavac, whom North Carolina made a focus of offseason recruiting due to his sharpshooting abilities, delivered with what Tar Heel Nation is now calling "The Luka Game."
In UNC's 67-63 win over Clemson, which helped it keep a temporary hold on fourth place in the ACC, Bogavac exploded for a career-high 20 points. Bogavac scored 17 in the second half, drained six 3-pointers and sank a pair of free throws.
After North Carolina's (24-6, 12-5 ACC) thrilling comeback victory, Bogavac detailed his career night and what made it possible.
Bogavac's big night was a complete 180 from Saturday's win over Virginia Tech, when he scored three points and shot the basketball just three times. UNC is now 16-2 when Bogavac scores in double figures.
There isn't a singular top moment you can truly pinpoint for Bogavac against the Tigers (21-9, 11-6 ACC), but his greatest shot came with 5:14 left in second half action.
With North Carolina trailing by two, Bogavac launched a jumper from beyond the arc, giving his team a 56-55 advantage it never relinquished.
In a season filled with contributions across the roster, Bogavac delivered his big moment when the Tar Heels needed it most. Will Bogavac be the X-factor behind a deep NCAA Tournament run?

“Coach Davis called a lot of plays for me in the second half," Bogavac said, via TarHeel247's Noah Weiskopf. "He really pushed me to shoot the ball. I feel also, it gives confidence to other players and leave more space for other guys. They (Clemson) had to guard me differently in the second half because I shot it good. It’s important to keep shooting and Coach (Hubert) Davis recognized that."
