Louisiana's LHSAA baseball postseason got under way last weekend with the state's various divisions contesting the bi-district playoffs in best-of-3 series.

In the Non-Select brackets, the top eight seeds in each of the four divisions received byes to the regional round. That included the #1 seeds in each division with the Barbe [Lake Charles, LA] Bucs (Division I), Brusly [LA] Panthers (Division II), Sterlington [LA] Panthers (Division III), and Welsh [LA] Greyhounds (Division IV) getting free passes to the next round.

The Select brackets also contested the bi-district round where the top 12 seeds all received byes. The #1 seeds will take the field this week for the first time, including the Brother Martin [New Orleans, LA] Crusaders, Vandebilt Catholic [Houma, LA] Terriers , University Lab [Baton Rouge, LA] Catholics, and Opelousas [LA] Catholic Vikings.
