Well, well, well, if it isn’t the consequences of your own actions.
The Islanders have shared the eight finalists for the third-jersey vote, selecting variations that were submitted by fans according to templates that were probably always going to point in this direction.
Still, it gives us something to talk about and debate in early August in between fretting whether Casey Cizikas and Brayden Schenn will show up to camp in “the best shape of [their] life” or regretting how many years are left on Pierre Engvall’s contract.

But if you need something else to mull over (again): who should get the C for the 10 teams who don’t have captains. This one suggests Bo Horvat for the Isles. [Sportsnet]
