Liverpool prepare stunning €180m bid in fresh move for Jude Bellingham after 2023 Real Madrid snub.

Liverpool are reportedly preparing a record-breaking €180 million offer to bring Jude Bellingham to Anfield — three years after the England midfielder turned down a move in favour of joining Real Madrid.

The 22-year-old is seen by Liverpool’s hierarchy as a generational talent who could transform their midfield for years to come.

Liverpool reignite interest in long-standing target Jude Bellingham

According to Fichajes.net, the Premier League side are ready to test Real Madrid’s resolve with a bid that would make Jude Bellingham one of the most expensive players in history.

Back in 2023, Liverpool were among the frontrunners to sign Bellingham from Borussia Dortmund before he chose Madrid.

The decision was a blow to Jurgen Klopp’s plans at the time, and the club responded by bringing in the likes of Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai.

Now, under new management and with a refreshed squad, Liverpool are said to be revisiting their pursuit.

Club officials reportedly believe Bellingham is the missing piece in their rebuild and are willing to break transfer records to get him.

Fichajes report that Anfield chiefs view Bellingham as the player to lead Liverpool into a new era, describing him as the club’s dream midfield signing.

Real Madrid stand firm on untouchable Jude Bellingham

Real Madrid, however, have no intention of selling. Both club president Florentino Perez and head coach Xabi Alonso consider Jude Bellingham untouchable, viewing him as central to the club’s long-term plans.

Perez is said to believe Bellingham’s sporting value outweighs any financial offer — even one of €180 million — while Alonso reportedly sees him as the “axis of the team,” crucial to Madrid’s structure and identity.

Since his arrival in 2023, Bellingham has become a key figure for Real Madrid, starring in both La Liga and the Champions League.

His influence has helped shape the club’s transition to a younger, faster side built around emerging talents like Vinicius Junior and Eduardo Camavinga.

Liverpool’s interest highlights the ongoing battle between Premier League spending power and the sporting principles of clubs like Real Madrid.

But despite the size of the offer, Madrid’s stance remains clear: Jude Bellingham is not for sale.
