The San Francisco 49ers welcomed the Chicago Bears into Levi's Stadium on Sunday night for a primetime NFC battle, and Kyle Shanahan's team earned a 42-38 win to improve to 12-4 on the season.

San Francisco's game started out in horrendous fashion, as Brock Purdy threw an interception and left tackle Trent Williams suffered an injury on the very first play. With Austen Pleasants coming in and protecting Purdy's blindside, the 49ers were able to come back from that early mistake and win the game.

After the final whistle, the 49ers reconvened in their home locker room, and Kyle Shanahan addressed his team and shouted out the replacement offensive lineman for a job well done.

Check it out:

Pro Football Focus gave Pleasants a 74.8 run-blocking grade and a 58.6 pass-blocking grade. Neither of those is overly impressive, but he was servicable in a pinch, and that deserves recognition.
