The Phoenix Suns have plenty of work to do this summer.
After finishing as the No. 11 team in the Western Conference with a 36-46 record, the Suns parted ways with head coach Mike Budenholzer.
In addition, the Suns named Brian Gregory their new general manager, and James Jones stepped into a senior advisory role.
With the new general manager in place, he will work with owner Mat Ishbia to decide the team's direction for next season.

The biggest winner from the NBA Draft Lottery was no doubt the Dallas Mavericks. With the No. 1 overall pick in the upcoming draft, it's highly likely the Mavericks use the pick to select Duke's Cooper Flagg.
However, the Suns could end up winning as trade rumors begin to circulate about Kevin Durant's future with the team.
Sam Quinn of CBS Sports predicts the Suns could trade Durant to the Philadelphia 76ers after they got the third pick.
In the hypothetical trade, the Sixers would receive Durant and send Paul George to Phoenix, along with the No. 3 pick.

Such a trade would be massively telling for an organization that, after trading for Durant and Bradley Beal, essentially mortgaged its future to win in the present.
This draft class is considered one of the better classes in recent memory, so getting a young talent, even if he's considered a project, would be ideal for the Suns, who could be facing a difficult rebuild sooner rather than later.
