Kernel golfer scores first career ace in Lakeview round

May 26—MITCHELL — Mitchell High School golfer Elliot Smith holed her first career ace over the weekend at Lakeview Golf Course.

Smith, who plays for the Kernel girls golf team, had a hole-in-one at Hole No. 8, which she made from 108 yards using a pitching wedge on May 23.

Her playing partners were Adam Smith and Kate Schutz.
