MANHATTAN (KSNT) — The 2026 Big 12 Outdoor long jump champ joins K-Nation.
The junior long jumper, Tah Chikomba, jumped 8.27 meters at the Big 12 Championships to clinch first place.
That jump broke his personal record, his own school record, a Big 12 record and a Drachman Stadium record.
After spending two seasons at Meridian Community College, the long jumper has made his mark in his first season at K-State.
The Zimbabwe native currently sits at No. 1 in the NCAA and No. 7 in the world.
“It’s something I’ve been dreaming since being back home,” Chikomba told 27 Sports. “Coming here I’m just happy for myself, because I made the right decision to sign with K-State.”
The full interview can be seen above or on tonight’s episode of K-Nation.
