Joel Embiid had several extensive conversations with LeBron James and told him he feels healthy

Dave McMenamin: "Tyrese Maxey worked out with LeBron James today in Los Angeles and so that has been a strong relationship for four or five years now. I have reported that Maxey is not just one of LeBron's favorite players in the league, but one of his favorite people. And so he was certainly instrumental in giving LeBron someone he already had a pre-established friendship with. I'm told Joel had several extensive conversations with LeBron. And if he's the elder statesman in Philly, it's his town. And so I think that's showing a level of deference from LeBron by wanting to have those conversations with the guy who's been most established there, while also my understanding that Joel was expressing to LeBron that he feels healthy. And that was information that obviously LeBron valued. And I know Jaylen Brown and LeBron were in touch. I don't know if it was phone, text, I don't know the context there, but I do know from multiple sources that they they also shared some communication.
