Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow is looking forward to lining up against Trey Hendrickson twice per season in the AFC North.

Inevitably asked about Hendrickson deciding to join the Baltimore Ravens in free agency, Burrow took an expected track

"Not very surprising,” Burrow said. I know Trey, I love Trey. I just know how he operates."

Of course, social media took these comments and ran with them as a possible negative. But Burrow was all smiles as he said it.

Ultimately, the Bengals wanted to move on from Hendrickson after years of contract snafus. Age and availability, plus overall roster construction, played roles, too. He wanted the big deal the Ravens gave him, which provided the bonus of playing for a contender.

Is there a little laugh from Burrow in there about Hendrickson getting to take a shot at his former team twice a year (or more)? Maybe. But Burrow and everyone else, fans included, know what time it is during those AFC North bouts, regardless.
