Jo Adell just had one of the best games a right fielder could have, robbing not one, not two, but three home runs in the same game. And his Los Angeles Angels needed every last robbery in a 1-0 win over the Seattle Mariners.
While there's no doubt about which one was the best -- it was the last -- the first two were so similar there's room for debate. Adell's first grab in the opening inning set the tone for what was to come and required a bigger leap, but the second had the pressure of a one-run game in the eighth inning.
Regardless, neither compared to his ninth-inning grab that sent him flying into the front row.
Spectacular.
