Jesse Lingard is set to write a new chapter in his career. Now a free agent following the end of his contract with FC Seoul, the 33-year-old England international is about to sign with Sport Club Corinthians Paulista.
According to ESPN Brasil, the former Manchester United player will join the São Paulo-based club as a free agent. This is a golden opportunity for Corinthians, who are landing a seasoned player without a transfer fee.
In recent weeks, another Brazilian side, Clube do Remo, had also shown interest. But in the end, it was the São Paulo giant that managed to win Lingard over.
