The New York Knicks superstar guard put up a stunning 45 points during Saturday night's NBA Finals series-clinching victory in San Antonio, etching his legend as one of the franchise's best-ever players.
Brunson's performance in this NBA Finals series was absolutely legendary; he was the Finals MVP for a reason. He basically put the team on his back on Saturday night in San Antonio when it looked like the Spurs were running away with Game 5.
His performance in Game 5 especially will send him into NBA Finals history. The statue outside of Madison Square Garden should start soon. His reaction to winning the NBA Finals was everything.
